DocGen is a system for rapidly creating system designs, and implementation command sets, for IP Storage Area Networks.

DocGen takes a single XML specification document and automatically creates a variety of output documents, including:

  • Pretty printed, human readable documents in a variety of formats, including PDF, RTF and HTML
  • Storage design documents
  • Network design documents
  • Change Implementation Plans
  • Command text for implementing designs on NetApp and Cisco Systems equipment

DocGen enables designers to use a single, authoritative source document to specify a system design, not dozens of individual documents that must all be kept in sync. When design changes are required, they can be made quickly and easily, and new revisions of designs issued to customers in record time. No more tedious cutting and pasting from one document to another!
